In Facebook you can comment on the Status Updates of your friends. In Twitter you can mention a person while making a Tweet, somewhat similar to Facebook comments. In Google Plus too you can comment on the stream of those who are in your Circle and same may happen to you. People who have you in their Circles can also comment on your Stream Updates.
Because anyone can include you in his circle and comment on your posts, this feature lacks a lot of privacy. In this post we will discuss how can we disable commenting in Google Plus for specific posts.
Log into your Google Plus Account – On the right side of your post in Google Plus – Click the drop down menu link and click Disable Comments as shown in the image below.
Now you will see that Comment link below your post will disappear immediately thus disallowing anyone to comment on your post.
Now in case you changed your mind and again want to allow people to comment on your post then you will need to enable comments for that post. You can do that in the same way you performed the tutorial above. And this time click Enable Comments link.
Note:- The above tutorial is only valid for enabling or disabling comments on a single post only.
